The opening hole at Fraserburgh gives a subtle introduction and gives no real indication of what a
true links test is to follow. No real danger with the tee shot here as the first and last holes run
parallel with each other in opposite direction. Don’t go left though as the whins of grass and deep
rough will cause all sort of pain. There are three bunkers up the right but are more in play on the
18th. A centre left tee shot sets up a nice 2nd shot to a large green guarded on both sides by greenside
bunkers.
