All at Fraserburgh Golf Club wish to extend the warmest of welcomes to some of the World’s best Amateur Golfer’s over the next couple of days as they attempt to qualify for the Scottish Men’s Open later in the week hosted by our friends at Cruden Bay.
We are extremely proud to have Fraserburgh showcased at such a high profile event and is testament to the work that goes on with the Staff and Volunteers at the club that we have been chosen to host such an event.
This is arguably the most illustrious event ever seen across our Corbiehill Links but we’re sure it will provide a good test of Golf for all concerned.
Play well and enjoy your time at the Worlds 7th Oldest Club
Today is official practice day and tomorrow is the actual qualifying with the tee times running from 0730-1230 so we would encourage all Members and fans of the game to pop down and catch a glimpse of some of the worlds best Amateur players.
GLOVER OPEN CANCELLATION 28TH OF MAY
It is with regret the club have decided to cancel the Glover Open planned for the 28th of May.
This is a decision that hasn’t been taken lightly but the Club and Staff have a very busy schedule in May and June and to try and was done to alleviate some of the burden on Staff and Volunteers.
Home players will have their accounts credited with their entry fee and away players will have the option to a full refund or we will honour their time and visitor price should they wish to play on the 28th. We also host our James Braid Centenary event on the following weekend on the 4th of June should you wish to consider entering.
Hopefully we can re-arrange at some point if time allows.
Please contact the club on 01346-516616 or email secretary@fraserburghgolfclub.org to confirm their preferences
